Servicing a beautiful original 1957 Omega Constellation powered by the Omega 504 automatic movement

Here we have an orginal 1957 Omega Constellation in its untouched form for many years. First I would like to thank Braddan for allowing me the chance to work on his watch.

I have long been admiring the design  and quality of the Omega Constellation series and this is one of the best examples I have ever seen and worked on.

Below is the result after the service.

All returned to how it should be with the appropriate crown and new crystal.

Very Nice Vintage Funky Retro 60s Butex Automatic Watch - ETA 2452

Another fine example from my Butex collection. It has a rather unusual design with a mirror polished chapter ring together with the minimalistic cross-hair dial. The design resembles the legendary Universal Polerouter, although without the wonderful and prestigious 215 microtor automatic movement.

NOS Retro Streamline Ricoh Automatic Watch - Ricoh Automatic

Seriously funky Ricoh with a tonneau streamline stainless steel case. Beautiful cotes de Geneve pattern dark purple grey dial with Date and day at 6 o'clock. I have been resisting in wearing it for ages and although Ricoh watches aren't in the same league of some of the highend Swiss watches and I consider many of them possess more charm and character.

Retro Langendorf Watch Co - 70s Lanco Automatic - AS 2063

Lanco merged with Omega/Tissot in the 70s at the height of the quartz crisis. This Lanco automatic is probably the late production from Lanco before they ceased production in 1973 (according to the web). Its a shame as the design of the watch still looks and feels relevant by today's standard and I consider this as vastly superior than many modern fashion watches.

Massive 70's Jaquet Droz Automatic watch - ETA 2789

Massive 70's vintage Jaquet Droz in solid stainless steel case. Jaquet Droz is still trading and producing premium quality mechanical watches although this one must be from their cheaper range as the rotor is not marked with their name or logo on it. I have all reasons to believe this watch is genuine because it was still seal with its bag when I bought it and still have the original tag. Very substantial and blocky in design and the watch looks and feels solid and heavy. Together with the aperture-cut-out dial and the integrated steel bracelet, the watch is a prime example of 70's design: bold, colourful and daring.

Here we have a German made Eza automatic. Very retro looking and smart with it's red and black contrasting dial. Although Germany made mechanical watches are not as popular as Swiss, they are actually as good as if not better in terms of quality and engineering.

Big and wonderful 70s Renis All Stainless Steel Automatic - AS 2066

Another uncommon model. We have here a Renis Automatic with a big solid stainless steel case. Very smart silver dial with dark blue chapter ring. A very elegant and yet sporty automatic watch from the 70s. Also it features a not very common 3 pieces case construction: A out case which connect the bracelet, an inner case and screw back contains the movement and a flanged acrylic crystal to seal the front.
