Here we have a wonderful and seriously funky 60's Zenith Defy diver's automatic watch with solid full stainless steel case. With the daring faceted case and the bezel, it is a serious looking watch and has a substantial presence on the wrist.

Movement is the legendary Zenith 2552PC Automatic movement.
Features -
- Automatic wind as well as manual wind
- 21600 bph movement.
- 25.6mm D x 5.7mm H
- 23 Jewels
- Power reserve 43h
- Movement marked 23 Jewels, Zenith, Swiss Made.
- Incabloc shock protection.
- Quick set of the date by going back and forth between 8 and 12 O'clock.
Case and crown and crystal:
- Massive solid stainless steel case with faceted sides. 3 pieces case (bezel, case and screw back) Hidden lugs. Please note it is not believed these are the original finishes.
- Case back with the Zenith logo.
- Case back inside marked PAT. PEND, 1808-68, Modele Depose, Zenith, Swiss Made, Acier Inoxyoable.
- Case width is 37mm not including the crown, 38mm lug to lug. Original waterproof screw down crown with the Zenith logo.
- Some scratches and dings at the screw back, some minor storage scratches but the watch overall is in very good condition.
- New original thick mineral crystal.
There is an inner hard rubber shock protection spacer to protect the movement.
Also note that this is not the original strap.
The dial and hands:
- Original new old stock dial replaced by the factory, the luminous
material were starting to perish at the time but in overall mint
condition so I agreed the change.
- Chunky raised steel baton indexes with black painted lines at top and bottom.
- The dial marked Zenith, Automatic and Defy.
- New polished luminous steel hands.
- New polished with orange luminous square second hand.
