Lanco merged with Omega/Tissot in the 70s at the height of the quartz crisis. This Lanco automatic is probably the late production from Lanco before they ceased production in 1973 (according to the web). Its a shame as the design of the watch still looks and feels relevant by today's standard and I consider this as vastly superior than many modern fashion watches.

- Very smart multi-tone brushed/polished grain case, heavy chrome plated.
- Case width is 36mm not including the crown, 40mm lug to lug.
- Lug size is 18mm.
The dial and hands:
- Fabulous sunburst silver to with black chapter ring.
- Raise chunky steel baton hourly marker with machined facets and orange stripes.
- Date window at 3 with quickset by pulling the crown by 1 click.
- Dial marked Lanco, Swiss, 25 Jewels, Incabloc, Automatic, Swiss Made at 6.
- Polished steel hands with lume slot and steel orange second hand.
