Vintage 70s Guide Automatic - ETA 2789

Funky tonneau shape solid stainless steel case
Movement:
  • Movement is ETA 2789. Swiss Made.
  • 21,600 Hi-beat movement.
  • Rotor marked 25 Jewels, Swiss Made.
  • Power reserve roughly 48 hours
  • Size: Diameter - 25.6mm, Height - 5.9mm.
  • Incabloc shock protection system
  • Date/Day display, quick set function by pulling out the crown by 1 click.
  • Day of the week is in French.
Case and bracelet:
  • Massive and thick retro full stainless steel case with stylish hidden lugs
  • Duotone case. (brushed grain top and polished sides)
  • Case width is 36mm not including the crown, 41mm lug to lug.
  • Case back is stainless steel makerd Stainless Steel, Waterresistant, Automatic, Incabloc and Swiss Made. Still have the protective coating from the factory.
  • Lug size is 18mm.
  • Unsigned plain original crown.
  • Mint original flanged acrylic crystal.
  • Original stainless steel  bracelet with plain clasp would fit an 8 - 9 inch wrist.

The dial and hands:
  • Beautiful and minimal dark blue duo-tone silver dial.
  • Chunky and raised steel baton with contrasting red stripes hourly markers.
  • Date day apertures at 6 o'clock with polished steel frame.
  • Dial marked Guide, 25 Jewels, Automatic, Incabloc and Swiss Made.
  • Steel hour, minute hands with painted white stripe. Red steel second hand.
